JACOB'S WELL
by Lindsay Baines, Director
Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting one of our newest downtown business owners. As of July 1st, Luke Beal took over as business owner at Jacob's Well. Luke and I sat down to talk for a little while recently and he has some great ideas and changes that he would like to implement at Jacob's Well. Even prior to becoming the new owner, he has been in the restaurant and making some changes already. Some of these changes include staying open longer hours. Wednesday and Thursday nights Jacob's Well is now open until 10p.m. and on Saturdays staying open until midnight. Every Thursday night, they will host live music for the public to enjoy. What will not be changing is the great food that has been served and the comfortable atmosphere that draws so many people to this coffee and sandwich shop everyday. He has plans to re-arrange the seating so that more can be added and possibly adding patio seating in the back. After talking to Luke for only a short amount of time, I can see his excitement and determination. Jacob's Well will have a new logo, new look, and a new face, but will continue to be a great place to dine in downtown El Dorado. By clicking on Jacob's Well Facebook page, you can add him as a friend and keep up
with what he and his staff have going on.
El Dorado Main Street wishes him the very best and looks forward to a great relationship with him and his staff in the future. |
