Meet our Volunteer Team Leaders

El Dorado Main Street relies on volunteers to generate new ideas and make them a reality. Volunteers play a vital role in the success of El Dorado Main Street.

Dorothy Beer

Dorothy makes the world go around in the office. She operates in the capacity of administrative assistant. This includes many of the key duties of managing the day to day office flow and board meeting preparation.

Jackie Clark

Jackie serves as co-chairman of the Promotion Committee. Because of her, the annual events of Trick or Treat Down Main Street and Old Fashion Christmas Downtown El Dorado run like clock work. She is a key producer of the annual Steak Bonanza Dinner & Auction (the major Main Street fund raiser). Retired from a career in communication and marketing, she brings essential skills and perspective to core Main Street activities.

Debbie Glendening

Whenever anything needs to be done quickly and with excellence, Debbie shows up full force. She writes grants, keeps volunteer records, maintains work plan organization and is an all around miracle maker.

“Peg”

Peg is the database manager and office organizer … what else can we say. She is amazing.

Craig Yaryan

Craig’s primary responsibility is chair of the Veteran Banner Program, as well, as being a long term board member (Past President) and current Executive Committee member and chair of the Design Committee. He oversees the Fa├žade Grant Program and participates with everything we do at Main Street in one way or another. No task seems to be too big or too small for Craig… indispensable. Including updating and managing this website.

Vicki Bailey

Vicki’s main focus is chair of the Artscape 2 Committee. In the last three years you may have noticed how luminous all of the Streetscape Sculptures in the downtown have become. Vicki and her “Gang of Four” are committed to making sure these treasures are being maintained professionally. They have created a walking tour with a printed map. See Artscape 2 section on this website.
