Old Fashioned Christmas

El Dorado Main Street is excited to announce that Old Fashioned Christmas will be held Saturday December 7 this year.

Festivities begin at 9 a.m. with a craft fair at the El Dorado Civic Center until 2 p.m. From 3 to 5 p.m. meet Santa and Mrs. Claus at Charley’s Appliance downtown.

Pre parade festivities with live music begins at 5 p.m. at Main and Central Sts.

The parade kicks off down Main Street starting at 5:30 p.m. The route will start at 4th and Main Sts., and end at Ash and Main Sts.

We’re asking that those in the parades please don’t throw candy from moving vehicles for safety reasons. Instead have people walking by your moving float to hand out or toss candy to the children along the curbs.
Thank you for helping us promote a safe family event.

The evening ends with a tree lighting in front of the Butler County Historic Courthouse with live music.

Follow Candy Cane Lane to the Kansas Oil Museum starting at 6:15 p.m. for photos with Santa, activities, hot coco and more fun!
